Position Overview

As a Cashier at Msuez Uk, you will be responsible for handling all financial transactions accurately and efficiently. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers have a positive shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit, and debit card payments
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking bags, cleaning conveyor belts, and ensuring all equipment is in working order
• Greet customers with a friendly and helpful attitude, and provide assistance as needed
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns they may have
• Keep track of all cash and credit transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient checkout process
• Upsell and promote company products and services to customers at the checkout
• Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves when necessary
• Adhere to all safety and security procedures to prevent theft and fraud
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred
• Excellent math and communication skills
• Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly and approachable demeanor with a positive attitude
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with cash register systems
