Financial Controller
Job description
Our client, an eco-luxury wellness 5* resort in Bali, is seeking a Financial Controller to lead and oversee all financial operations, ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and strategic support to drive business performance.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Financial Controller or senior finance role
• Prior experience in a 5-star luxury resort environment
• Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and reporting standards
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
• Proficiency in VHP system or similar hotel accounting systems
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and analytical thinking
• Strong leadership and team management skills
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor cash flow, cost control, and profitability to support strategic decision-making
• Manage the budgeting process and provide variance analysis with actionable insights
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and internal financial policies
• Supervise and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and efficiency
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Support senior management with financial analysis and business planning
