Solutions Architect
Job description
Solutions Architect - 12 Month Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design
•
Analyze business needs and translate them into robust and scalable technical solutions.
•
Design and architect end-to-end solutions, with a focus on ERP integration and optimization.
•
Develop solution architectures for cloud integration, data analytics, and other relevant technologies.
•
Create detailed technical specifications, diagrams, and documentation, aligned with TOGAF standards.
- Implementation and Integration
•
Oversee the implementation of solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and best practices.
•
Integrate various systems, including ERP and other business-critical applications.
•
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for successful project delivery.
- Technology Evaluation and Selection
•
Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance business capabilities.
•
Recommend and select appropriate hardware and software solutions.
•
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in solutions architecture, including updates to the TOGAF framework.
- Collaboration and Communication
•
Work closely with stakeholders across different departments to gather requirements and understand business processes.
•
Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
•
Present architectural designs and proposals to senior management.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
•
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•
5+ years of experience in a solutions architecture role.
•
TOGAF 9.2 certification.
Technical Skills
•
Proven experience in implementing and integrating ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
•
Expertise in data management, including databases, data warehousing, and data integration.
•
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their applications in enterprise environments.
•
Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
