Our client in Papua New Guinea is looking for a Quality Inspector
About the Role
We are looking for a Quality Inspector (MRO) to uphold and enforce safety and quality standards across our engineering operations. The successful candidate will support audits, inspections, and compliance processes, ensuring adherence to aviation regulations.
Key Responsibilities
•
Conduct quality inspections and audits of Part 145 maintenance activity.
•
Maintain records of deficiencies, training files, and corrective actions.
•
Oversee induction training and licence renewals for engineering staff.
•
Liaise with CASA PNG on certification and vendor approvals.
•
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Division.
Requirements
•
Significant quality and safety qualifications.
•
Previous experience in a large airline/MRO environment (preferred).
•
Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills.
•
Physically fit and adaptable to long/irregular working hours.
•
Proficient ATR exposure.
•
Proficient in computer systems and reporting.
