Position: Commis Baker

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and production of all baked goods, including bread, pastries, and desserts
• Follow recipes and ensure all products meet quality and presentation standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, following all sanitation and safety guidelines
• Assist in inventory control and ordering supplies as needed
• Collaborate with other members of the culinary team to create new and innovative menu items
• Adhere to all company and industry regulations and standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Commis Baker or similar role in a professional kitchen
• Knowledge of different baking techniques and methods
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality baked goods
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
