Job description

Position: Demi Chef De Partie Baker

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Baker in the daily production of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and desserts
  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure all products are of high quality and meet company standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering of necessary supplies
  • Train and mentor junior team members on baking techniques and standards
  • Collaborate with other members of the culinary team to create new and innovative menu items
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and hygiene regulations
  • Assist with other kitchen duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Demi Chef De Partie Baker or in a similar role
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and methods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality products
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical examination and background check
