APEX Developer
Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for 2 Senior Oracle APEX Developers to join ongoing project delivery and support the development of enterprise-grade applications built on the Oracle stack. This is a full-time contract role with full on-site presence required (5 days/week) .
The selected candidates will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining robust Oracle APEX applications, while collaborating closely with technical and business teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
•
Design, develop, and maintain applications using Oracle APEX
•
Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions
•
Develop and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and SQL queries
•
Build interactive reports, dashboards, forms, and workflows in Oracle APEX
•
Integrate APEX applications with internal and external systems via REST/SOAP APIs
•
Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and reliability
•
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, testing, and production environments
•
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and release activities
•
Work closely with project managers, analysts, DBAs and other developers to ensure successful delivery
•
Contribute to technical documentation and best practices
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in software development with strong focus on Oracle technologies
•
Proven hands-on experience with Oracle APEX
•
Strong expertise in PL/SQL and SQL
•
Solid experience with Oracle Database
•
Good understanding of database design, performance tuning, and debugging
•
Experience developing and consuming web services / APIs
•
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
•
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
•
Fluent English, both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications
•
Experience with Oracle Forms , Oracle Reports, or legacy modernization projects
•
Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS within Oracle APEX environments
•
Experience working in enterprise or mission-critical environments
•
Knowledge of version control and deployment best practices
•
Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies
