Assistant Mechanical Engineer - Plant&Equipment

Responsibilities

• Keep full record of company owned plant.
• Schedule and allocate appropriate plant to sites.
• Liaise with sites on erection and dismantling of plant.
• Coordinate for installations of water, electricity and fuel supply.
• Place orders for spare parts purchase.
• Prepare monthly cost report to Departmental Managers.
• Prepare monthly plant hire report and advise Project Manager on hire charges.
• Ensure plant is installed and used in accordance with Safety Regulations.
• Liaise with Insurance Department on newly purchased plant, policy revision and claims.
• Recruit and allocate competent mechanics/electricians.
