We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our New Zealand and Business Events team. This role plays an important part in connecting New Zealand’s tourism industry with Tourism New Zealand’s global marketing activity, ensuring the right products, experiences and stories are represented across the visitor journey.

What will you be doing | Ngā whainga

In this role, you will work closely with New Zealand tourism operators, industry partners and Tourism New Zealand’s offshore teams to develop compelling product propositions that support our global campaign work.

You will help ensure New Zealand’s tourism offering is visible, relevant and well positioned across B2B and B2C channels, supporting growth in visitor arrivals and value. You will also identify opportunities for industry partners to participate in and contribute to Tourism New Zealand’s activity, helping amplify our marketing impact in key markets.

A key part of the role will be supporting the integration of Qualmark and VIN Inc into wider Tourism New Zealand marketing activity, as well as contributing to key trade shows and events in collaboration with the Experience New Zealand and offshore teams.

You will also have the opportunity to use AI and emerging digital tools thoughtfully and responsibly to strengthen product marketing, improve efficiency, and support high-quality, insight-led outputs.

What you will need | Ngā pūkenga mō tēnei tūranga

You’ll be an experienced marketer with a strong understanding of integrated marketing across both B2B and B2C channels. You’ll bring commercial and strategic thinking, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to translate insights into clear, compelling product messages.

You’ll be comfortable working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including industry partners, and will have the confidence to identify opportunities, manage multiple workstreams and deliver quality outcomes.

We are looking for someone who brings

Around five years’ experience in marketing, ideally with experience in product marketing, destination marketing or the tourism sector

  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing across B2B and B2C channels
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with industry partners and internal teams
  • Sound commercial and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver measurable outcomes
  • Strong writing, editing and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Good planning and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confidence using AI and digital tools to improve marketing effectiveness and support insight-led outputs
  • Domestic travel may be required as part of this role.
