Job description
Horizon Tech is looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our B2B sales operations in the lighting industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in LED, electrical, or related products, with proven expertise in managing sales teams, driving revenue growth, and building long-term client relationships. This role requires strategic thinking, leadership skills, and the ability to manage a remote sales team effectively while achieving aggressive sales targets.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
• Develop and implement effective B2B sales strategies to achieve business objectives
• Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base
• Drive revenue growth by consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
Team Leadership & Management
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals (including remote teams)
• Set clear performance goals and monitor team productivity
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members
Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
• Conduct high-level sales meetings and negotiations with potential clients
• Ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
• Track sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity
• Optimize sales processes for better efficiency and results
Business Development
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the lighting/LED industry
• Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with business goals
• Expand market presence through strategic partnerships
Requirements
• 6–8 years of experience in B2B sales (lighting, LED, electrical, or related industry preferred)
• Proven experience in a sales management role with team leadership responsibilities
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills (10/10 proficiency required)
• Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Experience managing remote or distributed sales teams
• Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The performance of the Sales Manager will be evaluated based on:
• Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Team performance and productivity
• Revenue growth and new business acquisition
• Client retention and relationship management
• Accuracy and timeliness of sales reporting
