Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cashbook capturing
  • Daily/monthly Bank recons
  • Preparation and capturing of General Ledger journals
  • Assisting in preparation of management accounts
  • Assisting in preparation of annual budgets
  • Assistance with internal/external auditors
  • Preparation of Balance sheet recons
  • Preparation of Vat workings and returns
  • Maintaining and updating of fixed assets register
  • Assistance with Debtors and Creditors duties
  • General administration and filing

REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12 (With Mathematics & Accounting as subjects)
  • Tertiary Bookkeeping/Finance qualification
  • Minimum 3-5 years bookkeeping/finance experience
  • Knowledge of Accounting software packages
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and according to tight deadlines
  • Have excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Attention to Detail and high level of accuracy
  • Office hours: Monday to Friday 08h00 to 17h00

RUMUNERATION

R 18 000 to R20,000 (Total Cost To Company)
