About the Role
A national law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with at least 2 years of experience to join its Labor & Employment practice group in Orange County, California. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of employment law matters, including single-plaintiff disputes and complex wage and hour class actions. The role is ideal for a motivated attorney seeking hands-on experience with sophisticated clients, direct case responsibility, and mentorship in a supportive, low-turnover environment.
Responsibilities
•
Represent clients in labor and employment matters, including claims involving FEHA, wage and hour violations, and agency complaints
•
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and settlement agreements
•
Conduct and defend depositions, prepare for hearings, and assist with trial preparation
•
Provide strategic legal counsel to clients across a variety of employment law issues
•
Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation matters
•
Maintain timely and accurate case documentation and reporting
Qualifications
•
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
•
Active license to practice law in the State of California
•
2+ years of experience in civil litigation
•
Familiarity with labor and employment law, including FEHA, wage & hour, and administrative agency practice
•
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
•
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications

Prior experience handling wage and hour class actions or PAGA claims
•
Exposure to trial preparation and courtroom proceedings
•
Demonstrated interest in employment law and litigation strategy
•
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing work
