Job Description

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid

background in agriculture, mechanical expertise, and a passion for providing excellent service to farmers. You will play a vital

role in supporting our sales and farm contracting efforts by providing technical assistance, maintenance advice, and product

knowledge to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers regarding the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our agricultural

equipment.

  • Conduct equipment inspections and diagnose mechanical issues as needed to ensure optimal performance and

longevity.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to deliver product demonstrations and assist in showcasing the features and benefits of

our equipment to potential customers.

  • Assist in the installation and setup of agricultural machinery at customer sites, ensuring proper functionality and safety

compliance.

  • Conduct training sessions for customers on equipment operation, maintenance best practices, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and components to

customers.

  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs performed, and parts used for

inventory management and reporting purposes.

  • Stay updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and product enhancements to provide informed

recommendations and support to customers.

  • Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries, resolve technical issues, and provide exceptional

customer service throughout the ownership lifecycle of the equipment.

  • Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize the

reliability of equipment.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in agricultural equipment maintenance, repair, or technical support.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to travel to customer sites as needed.
  • Knowledge of agricultural practices, machinery, and equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Salary - $76515k - $90k pa
