Job Title: Renewable Energy Engineer

Company: International Leading Technology Company Location: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Provide technical support for utility-scale and commercial PV+ESS projects in Mongolia, overseeing project design, implementation, technical coordination, and maintenance activities. Support successful project delivery by ensuring quality, safety, and technical standards are achieved.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for ongoing PV and Energy Storage System (ESS) projects.
• Develop technical design documents, calculations, drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and project stakeholders throughout project implementation.
• Support project planning, quality assurance, and technical reporting activities.
• Review and prepare project implementation plans, specifications, estimates, and technical reports.
• Participate in project design, permitting, construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance activities.
• Conduct electrical system inspections and perform equipment maintenance when required.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical updates to the Project Manager and management team.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Renewable Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in PV project implementation, installation, and maintenance, particularly in Commercial & Industrial (C&I) applications.
• Hands-on experience in PV project design, implementation, permitting, construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment maintenance, and renewable energy technologies.
• Ability to develop detailed calculations, engineering designs, and technical documentation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, PV design software, and other related engineering tools.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of professionalism and initiative.
• Fluent English communication skills required.
• Chinese language skills are an advantage.
