Technical Program Manager, Cloud Data Warehouse

THE TEAM In Data Platform Singapore, we aim to create a PB-level analytical database product that empowers efficient and real-time data-driven decision-making, based on ClickHouse. Our internal use cases have grown to tens of thousands of instances and we have now the largest ClickHouse deployment on this planet, supporting ByteDance's global customers as well as internal products. Based on this unique ground, we will be building a cloud-native and high-performance enterprise data warehouse with challenges that are exciting and unprecedented.

• Define, drive and own schedule and delivery of technology programs including the definition of success criteria, resourcing, and delivery.
• Manage the complexity in the coordination among multiple cross-cultural teams, to ensure timely deliverables.
• Drive initiatives among cross-functional teams, exercise technical judgment, and set clear expectations about responsibilities and timeline on milestones.
• Apply analytical skills and data-driven decision-making to refine workflow and process, improve accuracy, efficiency and reduce management complexity for the engineering team.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors/Masters/PhD Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant majors;
• 5-10 years of experience in technical program management and cross-functional security-related initiatives;
• Experience architecting, developing, and/or program managing the fast-moving buildout of large-scale distributed systems;
• Experience managing execution of high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle (build, test and release on time);
• Experience managing execution and high-quality product delivery;
• Ability to be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.
• Excellent communication skills across multiple disciplines and time zones.
