Job description
Position: Web Developer
Number of hours: 20 hours/week
Schedule: PST
Tasks required
•
Meet with clients to discuss website design and function
•
Design and building the website front-end
•
Create the website architecture
•
Design and managing the website back-end including database and server integration
•
Generate themes and plugins suitable for the client’s website
•
Conduct website performance tests
•
Troubleshoot common website issues and address concerns leading to downtime
•
Monitor the performance of the live website
•
Other ad hoc tasks to be assigned
Requirements
•
Must have 1 year of experience as a Web Developer or relevant experience
•
Knowledge in full stack web development, specifically using Framer or Webflow
•
A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
•
Can set up the client’s personal and business website
•
Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytical tools
•
Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
•
Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
•
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques
