Job Overview
The Supply Planning role is responsible for maintaining accurate master data in SAP (ECC & APO) for new products/materials/SKUs, managing obsolescence of existing codes, and ensuring effective depletion planning with minimal write-offs. The role governs the handover of SKUs to the FG Planner in alignment with target FAD and product launch timelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Represent Supply Planning in project meetings from kick-off to launch.
• Maintain accurate master data in SAP (ECC & APO) until materials are active (ZA).
• Manage obsolescence of current codes upon stock depletion.
• Provide depletion timelines for existing SKUs and start dates for new codes with minimal write-offs.
• Validate forecast data in APO SNP94 against FAD, launch timelines, and volumes provided during project meetings.
• Proactively raise concerns on gaps impacting FAD and launch timelines.
• Ensure project timelines from kick-off to FAD align with functional lead times (Procurement, Costing, Production, Logistics).
• Govern the handover of SKUs to the regular FG Planner.
• Attend huddles, control tower, and Step 3 meetings within the assigned cluster.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Demand, MRP, FG, Logistics, Costing, CF, Marketing, SP Managers).
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a business-related course.
• At least 2 years of experience in supply planning or a similar function, preferably in a multinational or multicultural environment.
• Strong expertise in SAP (ECC & APO), particularly in master data management.
• Good understanding of product lifecycle and supply planning processes; able to operate effectively in volatile environments.
• High tolerance for complexity and ambiguity.
• Growth mindset with the ability to adapt to rapid technological and market changes.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning processes.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proactive and collaborative team player.
