Job Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement.
• Design and implement process optimization strategies to improve efficiency, reduce cycle time, and enhance product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Monitor process performance metrics such as cycle time, yield, and scrap rate, and develop strategies to meet or exceed these targets.
• Provide technical support to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues.
• Implement statistical process control (SPC) techniques to ensure quality and reduce process variation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related engineering field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in rubber, plastic, or metal production.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for process design and optimization.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and process improvement methodologies.
