Job description
Job Title: Brand Manager
Department: Marketing
Reports To: VP Sales & Marketing
Role Purpose
To handle all marketing and purchasing activities related to designated brands.
Key Responsibilities
•
Manage operational tasks related to the brand.
•
Maintain contact with product suppliers.
•
Supervise merchandise set-up with Sales Manager and product managers to ensure optimal shelving.
•
Conduct regular field visits to stay updated with market developments.
•
Visit current and potential customers to expand the client base and coordinate PR events.
•
Perform feasibility studies before introducing new products.
•
Train merchandisers on promotional techniques and coordinate with Sales Manager.
•
Prepare regular reports on product performance.
•
Support sales monitoring and decision-making based on market demands.
•
Monitor product performance and suggest corrective actions with Finance and Sales teams.
•
Oversee advertising and promotional activities.
•
Manage stock ordering aligned with annual sales forecasts (with Finance and Supply Chain).
•
Monitor stock levels, including expiry dates and reordering needs.
•
Contribute to company sales forecasting and marketing strategy development.
•
Propose and supervise promotional schemes.
•
Recommend new products to boost company sales.
Qualifications
•
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Experience
•
Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
Skills and Knowledge
•
Languages: Arabic, English, and French
•
Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office; ability to learn statistical tools
