Operations Controller-EMEA

Description: We are seeking an Operations Controller to support our client’s EMEA operations, ensuring effective financial management, operational control, and sustainable profitability. This position plays a crucial role in bridging finance and operations, promoting financial discipline, cost efficiency, and strategic business partnering across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities: Financial Leadership

  • Perform timely and insightful financial and operational analyses, presenting reports to operations leadership.
  • Direct actions to drive efficiency and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Ensure strong internal controls across EMEA operations (Manufacturing and Supply Chain).
  • Lead discussions on operational financial performance and define improvement action plans.
  • Drive ERP implementation and system improvement within operations controlling.

Plant Control Efficiency

  • Strengthen plant controlling by implementing best practices.
  • Maintain robust internal controls and ensure effective COGS management.
  • Analyze operational efficiency across all EMEA plants.

Operations & Planning

  • Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP).
  • Conduct investment analyses and evaluate operational business cases.
  • Develop and monitor finance and operations KPIs.

Profile Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance within a manufacturing and international environment.
  • Proven experience in operations controlling and ERP implementation (preferably SAP).
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with business acumen.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and business intelligence tools.
  • Fluency in English.
