Senior Underwriter

Job Title: Senior Underwriter - Group Life (Employee Benefits & Credit Life) Industry: Insurance Location: GCC (Willing to relocate)

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter to assess and underwrite group and credit life insurance proposals, ensuring sound risk evaluation and competitive pricing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and underwrite Group Life and Credit Life insurance proposals in line with company guidelines.
• Analyze group demographics , risk factors, and financials to determine appropriate terms and pricing.
• Collaborate with sales , actuarial, and operations teams to support client acquisition and retention.
• Review existing group portfolios and recommend renewal terms and risk management strategies .
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
• Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in Group Life and/or Credit Life Underwriting.
• Strong knowledge of employee benefits schemes, group mortality trends , and credit life products.
• Familiarity with underwriting software and digital tools is a plus.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
