Warehouse Automation Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Automation Specialist to design, implement, and maintain automation solutions for our warehouse operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in warehouse automation, robotics, and software integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, test, and implement automation solutions for warehouse operations, including robotic picking and packing systems, conveyor systems, and automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS).
• Integrate automation systems with our warehouse management system (WMS) to ensure seamless data exchange and efficient warehouse operations.
• Troubleshoot and maintain automation systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and IT, to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of automation solutions.
• Develop and implement automation standards and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across warehouse operations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in warehouse automation to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse automation, robotics, and software integration.
• Strong knowledge of automation systems, including robotic picking and packing systems, conveyor systems, and AS/RS.
• Experience with integrating automation systems with WMS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and maintain automation systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
