Structural Civil Engineer - Lisbon

About the Role

Our client is hiring a Structural Civil Engineer with experience in structural design to join the engineering team of one of our clients. The professional will be responsible for the sizing, analysis, and development of structural projects in reinforced concrete, steel, or wood, in accordance with technical regulations and the requirements of both national and international clients.

Responsibilities

• Structural sizing of elements (columns, beams, slabs, foundations);
• Preparation of technical drawings and descriptive reports;
• Verification and compliance with technical standards (including Eurocodes);
• Use of structural analysis software (e.g., Robot Structural Analysis, SAP2000, ETABS, Revit);
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (architecture, MEP, etc.);
• Technical support and site visits, when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering (preferably with a focus on structures);
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in structural design;
• Proficiency in structural calculation and CAD software;
• Up-to-date knowledge of technical regulations and European standards;
• Strong sense of responsibility, autonomy, and attention to detail;
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Valued Skills

• Experience in international projects;
• Knowledge of BIM (Revit or similar);
• Fluent/ professional level of Portuguese;
• Based in Lisbon;
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
