My client, a dynamic education technology company dedicated to revolutionizing personalized learning for schools, students, and teachers, is seeking an experienced B2B Business Development & Sales Manager to join them in Hong Kong. They're a company committed to innovative technology to maximize every student's learning potential.
The B2B Business Development & Sales professional will drive growth by acquiring new schools and nurturing strong relationships within the education sector. This role combines new business development with account management, focusing on building long-term partnerships and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve Revenue Targets : Drive annual revenue by acquiring new school clients.
- Full Sales Cycle Management : Oversee the entire sales process from prospecting to contract renewal.
- Relationship Building : Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., vice principals, heads of curriculum).
- Lead Generation : Maintain a database of potential leads and establish a consistent pipeline.
- Client Transition : Ensure smooth handover from sales to implementation and ongoing support.
- Feedback Loop : Capture product feedback from educators and students to inform internal teams.
Requirements
- Experience : 7+ years in B2B sales, preferably in education technology or software.
- Client Relationship Skills : Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with institutional clients.
- Understanding of Education Dynamics : Strong grasp of the educational sector's complexities.
- Communication Skills : Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Self-Motivated : Ability to work independently and drive results.
- Tech-Savvy : Familiarity with CRM systems and sales management processes.
- Language Skills : Fluency in English; Cantonese or Mandarin is a strong plus.
