Job Title: Piping Supervisor - Turbine Construction Project

Location: Ellesmere Port, United Kingdom

Rate: £32.00 per hour PAYE direct

Hours: 58 Hours per week

Term: 8 weeks

Position Overview

As the Piping Supervisor for the Turbine Construction Project, working on a new build Energy from Waste plant. You will be responsible for overseeing subcontractors to ensure that all installation of pipework is completed to a satisfactory standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage quality control procedures and processes throughout the turbine construction project.
  • Collaborate closely with the construction team to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Monitor and document all aspects of the construction work to ensure it meets the required quality specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any deviations from quality standards.
  • Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to promptly resolve quality-related issues.
  • Maintain meticulous records of quality control activities, test results, and corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans, protocols, and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to construction staff on quality control best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in quality control, preferably in a similar role within the energy, manufacturing, or construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and comprehensive documentation.
  • Relevant qualifications in quality control or a related field.
