Position : Plater Welder
Location : Port Talbot
PAYE Pay : 拢1600/week Gross
Hours : 10hr shifts, Mon-Sun
Start Date : 12.09.23
Duration : 2 weeks
The Role
Integrate Engineering are recruiting for additional Plater Welders on behalf of our client for a Port Talbot steelworks. The work will involve plate repairs and welding on existing steel plate and channel. Duties will include:
- Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
- Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate
- Repairing heat distorted steel plate
- Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs
- MMA welding on mild steel plate
- Assisting mechanical trades
Requirements
- CCNSG card
- Experience of working on heavy industrial sites
- Plating, Burning and MMA welding experience
