Job Title: Site Administrator Location: Liverpool Rate: £15.00 per hour PAYE inc hol pay (£13.39 inc £1.61 hol pay)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Site Administrator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the site management team, ensuring the smooth operation of the construction site through effective document control, communication, and coordination of daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document Control: Maintain and manage site documentation, including drawings, permits, safety records, and other project-related files. Ensure documents are up-to-date, accessible, and meet compliance standards.
  • Communication: Act as the main point of contact for administrative matters on site, liaising between site staff, subcontractors, clients, and head office.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Support the site team with scheduling meetings, managing diaries, and coordinating site visits.
  • Reporting: Compile and submit regular progress reports, health and safety records, and other required documentation.
  • Procurement Support: Assist in ordering materials, equipment, and services required for the site.
  • Timesheets and Payroll: Collect and submit staff timesheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain site induction records and ensure all staff and visitors adhere to health and safety protocols.
  • General Administration: Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, and maintain organised filing systems.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an administrative role within the construction or related industry.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document control systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of construction terminology and processes is desirable.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations within the construction industry is advantageous.
