Ocean Freight Senior Executive

We are partenered with a global freight forwarding company in search for a Ocean Freight Senior Executive based in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities

• To communicate efficiently with customers, shipping lines, transport team, trucking partners and overseas offices in order to ensure smooth pickup/ delivery of the shipments
• Responsible for managing and coordinating Sea Import shipments.
• To ensure accurate and timely production of relevant import documentation and declarations (eg. HB/L, MBL, manifest, pre-alerts), customs declaration, Trade-net operations
• To effectively follow up with CFS warehouse/oversea offices on any shortlanded, damaged or discrepancy cargo
• Preparing of payment vouchers, verifications of vendor costings, closing of all shipment files and filling of documents
• To ensure related charges are billed and collected timely from the consignee or its agent
• Ensure Fully Compliance on Workplace Safety & Health Procedure
• Perform general shipping functions including system data entries

What It Takes

• Minimum Diploma or higher Knowledge in freight forwarding, import procedure or permit declaration.
• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills •

Able to perform in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Able to start immediately or on a short notice

•

Possess good analytical skills and team player.

Able to work with initiative
