SolidWorks Designer (Oil & Gas Related Machines)

The SolidWorks Designer (Oil & Gas Related Machines) is responsible for designing and drafting 3D models and detailed drawings of machinery and equipment used in the oil & gas industry. The role requires extensive knowledge of mechanical design, material selection, and manufacturing processes for equipment like pumps, compressors, drilling equipment, and pressure vessels.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Design 3D models and detailed engineering drawings for oil & gas machinery, such as drilling equipment, pumps, compressors, and pipeline components, using SolidWorks.
• Develop assembly drawings, part drawings, and detailed mechanical systems for fabrication and manufacturing.
• Ensure designs meet safety standards, industry regulations (API, ASME), and client-specific requirements.
• Create accurate technical drawings, including isometric views, sectional details, and exploded assembly views for oil & gas machines and components.
• Prepare and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) for assemblies, ensuring accuracy in parts, materials, and components.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, specifically related to the oil & gas industry.
• Extensive experience with SolidWorks for 3D modeling, assembly design, and drafting.
• Familiarity with designing oil & gas-related equipment like pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, Pumping units, , etc.
