Key Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional development team, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Drive end-to-end software development activities, from requirement analysis and solution design to implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Actively contribute to the codebase by implementing critical features, performing code reviews, and resolving complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and maintainable application architectures by following industry best practices, architectural principles, and established design patterns.
• Provide technical leadership in architectural discussions and contribute to long-term technology strategy and solution design.
• Develop and optimize cloud-native applications and services using Microsoft Azure.
• Design, develop, and maintain background processing solutions using Azure Functions, Windows Services, Worker Services, or similar technologies.
• Implement and promote application security best practices, ensuring secure authentication, authorization, and data protection across solutions.
• Ensure application performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive CI/CD implementation and deployment automation using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with support teams to troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
• Promote engineering best practices, including clean code, coding standards, automated testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.
• Manage technical risks, provide accurate effort estimations, and ensure successful execution of project deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8–10 years of professional software development experience using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Strong expertise in designing and developing scalable, high-performance enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native application development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and experience working with NoSQL databases such as Azure Cosmos DB.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, and distributed systems.
• Experience developing background processing solutions using Azure Functions, Windows Services, Worker Services, or message-based architectures.
• Strong understanding of application security principles and implementation of secure software development practices.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
• Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows.
• Experience with Application Insights, monitoring, logging, and observability practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across technical and business teams.
• Proven ability to lead development teams, mentor engineers, and drive technical excellence.
• Experience with event-driven or message-based architectures is highly desirable.

Location: Onsite - Islamabad

Timings: Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm
