Digital Business Analyst

The Digital Business Analyst (DBA) will partner with the client team to support both business-as-usual responsibilities and new digital initiatives. The DBA will assist in coordinating digital solutions driven by client and work with stakeholders to support the deployment of these solutions across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to elicit citizen and business needs using human-centred and visual techniques such as service journey mapping and design thinking workshops.
• Develop business cases that support digital initiatives and transformation objectives.
• Collaborate with Client stakeholders , project teams, and technical teams to define user stories, functional specifications, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Evaluate and recommend suitable technology solutions aligned with the Client's enterprise architecture, cloud strategy, application modernization initiatives, and digital transformation roadmap.
• Assess and recommend appropriate software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, based on project requirements and delivery models (outsourced, co-sourced, or in-house).
• Support solution design and ensure business requirements are accurately translated into functional and technical deliverables.
• Ensure system and product readiness for deployment, transition, and operational support.
• Analyze the impact of business and system change requests, identify risks, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhancements to address evolving business needs and improve service delivery.
• Support senior leadership in identifying and driving new digital transformation initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT business analysis, application solutioning design, and testing.
• Participation in at least two full software or product development cycles, preferably using Agile methodology.
• Strong analytical, conceptualisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders.
• A driven and motivated personality with an inquisitive mind.
• Ability to learn and apply new concepts in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills

• Business Analysis certification such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
• Past development or consulting experience.
• Knowledge or experience in at least one of the following areas: Data Analytics, Agile Methodologies, Cloud, Internet and Mobile Technologies, Customer Relationship Management, Knowledge Management, or Service Design
