Position Summary
Four Seasons Resort Peninsula Papagayo, Costa Rica is seeking a talented and dynamic Digital Marketing Manager who shares a passion for excellence and infuses enthusiasm into everything they do.
This role is responsible for leading the Resort’s digital presence and e-commerce performance through strategic, creative, and data-driven marketing initiatives. The Digital Marketing Manager will develop and execute integrated campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and revenue, while ensuring alignment with Four Seasons brand standards and delivering an exceptional guest journey across all digital and on-property touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & E-Commerce
•
Develop and execute the Resort’s digital marketing and e-commerce strategy to drive traffic, conversion, and revenue across all online channels
•
Optimize performance across SEO, SEM, paid media, email marketing, and third-party platforms
•
Identify opportunities to acquire new guests and increase retention of existing guests
•
Continuously evaluate the digital booking journey and implement enhancements to improve conversion
Website & Digital Asset Management
•
Maintain and update the Resort website to ensure optimal performance, user experience, and search engine visibility
•
Manage Resort content across Four Seasons platforms, including FS.com and the FS Mobile App
•
Execute targeted digital campaigns, landing pages, and content updates aligned with commercial objectives
•
Ensure all digital assets reflect brand standards and current messaging
Social Media & Content
•
Manage the Resort’s social media platforms and develop a strategic content calendar that supports brand storytelling and business goals
•
Create and curate compelling, on-brand content that elevates engagement and reach
•
Oversee creative production, including photography and videography, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines
•
Manage influencer partnerships, hosted stays, and user-generated content initiatives
Reputation & Community Management
•
Monitor and manage the Resort’s online presence across social and review platforms, including TripAdvisor, Yelp, and Revinate
•
Respond to guest feedback in a timely and professional manner, maintaining the Resort’s reputation for excellence
•
Build and maintain relationships with local and regional digital partners, influencers, and media
Campaign & CRM Marketing
•
Plan and execute integrated digital campaigns to support key business segments and seasonal initiatives
•
Manage email marketing strategy, including database segmentation, campaign deployment, and performance tracking
•
Develop initiatives that support guest engagement, loyalty, and repeat visitation
Analytics & Performance Reporting
•
Track and analyze digital performance using platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and other reporting tools
•
Provide regular performance reports and insights to guide decision-making and optimize results
•
Monitor key metrics including website traffic, engagement, conversion, and ROI, and recommend actionable improvements
On-Property Marketing Integration
•
Partner with Resort departments including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Recreation to promote on-property experiences
•
Support marketing and promotion of events, activations, and seasonal programming
•
Ensure alignment between digital campaigns and the on-property guest experience
•
Identify opportunities to drive incremental revenue through in-resort offerings and experiences
What you will bring to the Role
•
Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing, marketing communications, or public relations
•
Strong understanding of digital channels, analytics, and performance marketing
•
Experience managing social media platforms and content development
•
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
•
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
•
Photography, videography, or creative production experience preferred
•
Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a strong attention to detail
