Position Summary

The Retail Attendant is responsible for delivering an exceptional luxury shopping experience consistent with Four Seasons standards by providing personalized service to guests and customers . This position contributes to achieving the boutique's sales objectives through customer engagement , consultative selling , visual merchandising , inventory support , and efficient daily store operations .

The Retail Attendant serves as a brand ambassador for Four Seasons and the brands represented within the boutique, creating meaningful guest connections and ensuring memorable shopping experiences throughout their stay .

Qualifications

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in retail , luxury hospitality , or customer service .

Previous experience in luxury boutiques, high-end hotels , or premium brands is highly preferred .

Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures .

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required .

College coursework or degree in Business Administration , Hospitality , Tourism , Marketing, or related fields is preferred .

Knowledge & Skills

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications .

Understanding of retail operations and inventory management .

Familiarity with retail performance metrics such as Sales, UPT ( Units per Transaction ), ATV ( Average Transaction Value ), and Conversi on Rate.

Languages

Advanced conversational English required .

Additional language skills are considered an asset .

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Service

Deliver warm , professional , and personalized service to all guests and customers .

Anticipate guest needs and provide appropriate product recommendations .

Maintain up- to -date knowledge of all merchandise , brands , and promotions .

Create memorable shopping experiences that reflect Four Seasons' commitment to excellence .

Address guest inquiries , requests , and concerns promptly and professionally .

Build lasting relationships with repeat guests and local clientele .

Sales & Commercial Performance

Meet or exceed individual and boutique sales goals and established KPIs .

Utilize suggestive selling and cross-selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities .

Actively promote new products , exclusive collections , and special promotions .

Participate in retail events , activations , and guest experiences organized by the resort.

Contribute to revenue growth through exceptional service and results-oriented performance.

Boutique Operations

Accurately operate the Point- of -Sale (POS) system and process all transactions .

Perform opening and closing cash handling procedures according to established guidelines .

Maintain accurate records of sales, returns , and merchandise transactions .

Assist with receiving , tagging , and replenishing merchandise .

Ensure the boutique is clean , organized , and maintained according to brand standards .

Inventory & Merchandise Control

Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory processes .

Report discrepancies , losses , or damaged merchandise to management .

Ensure proper product rotation and merchandise presentation .

Support inventory management efforts to maintain adequate stock levels .

Visual Merchandising

Maintain visual presentation standards established by management and brand partners .

Assist with floor moves , window displays , and seasonal merchandising changes .

Ensure all products are properly displayed , priced , and organized .

Teamwork & Collaboration

Work collaboratively with other resort departments to deliver a seamless guest experience .

Participate in training sessions , meetings , and development programs .

Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors .

Support additional operational duties as assigned .
