As an IT Audit Associate, you will engage in providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information to enhance credibility and reliability for a variety of stakeholders. Within our Assurance practice, you will focus on delivering assurance services over clients' digital environments, including processes and controls, cybersecurity measures, data and AI systems, and their associated governance. This role is pivotal in helping organizations and their stakeholders build trust in their technology while adhering to relevant regulations.
As an Associate, you will concentrate on learning and contributing to client engagement and projects, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be responsible for identifying key risks and controls, applying internal control principles and business/technical knowledge, and leading the execution of a work program and practice aid. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Manila, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse clients and team members, each presenting unique challenges and scope. Responsibilities
- Conducting audits of digital environments to evaluate compliance with regulations and assess governance and risk management processes
- Analyzing internal controls and business processes to identify key risks and recommend improvements
- Applying auditing methodologies and IT control frameworks such as COSO and CoBIT to enhance audit quality
- Collaborating with team members to deliver client engagement projects and support various Acceleration Center services
- Engaging in research and learning opportunities to develop technical and professional skills
- Utilizing cloud engineering and cybersecurity governance knowledge to assess and improve clients' digital security measures
- Performing data quality assessments and validation to support accurate financial reporting and compliance
- Supporting senior staff in executing work programs and practice aids for client projects
- Developing a personal brand by consistently delivering quality work and building meaningful client connections
- Participating in dynamic, digitally enabled training to enhance skills and knowledge in digital assurance and transparency
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting
- At least 1 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
