Founded circa 1028, Christ Church Cathedral is the spiritual heart of Dublin. As an Anglican Cathedral, registered charity, and one of the most-visited heritage sites in the city, it plays a vital role in the cultural and spiritual life of Ireland’s capital.

The Cathedral is a vibrant and inclusive community, supported by a diverse team of clergy, staff, and volunteers. Together, they uphold the Cathedral’s mission while ensuring a warm welcome to visitors and pilgrims from around the globe.

Located in the heart of the city centre, Christ Church Cathedral not only thrives as a sacred space but also functions as one of Dublin’s most unique venues—hosting concerts, corporate events, and other special occasions throughout the year. These events, along with visitor contributions, support the continued upkeep and mission of this historic site.
