Job Summary

The ERP Business Analyst & Support is tasked with the administration and technical support of the corporate ERP platform to maintain operational continuity. This position acts as the central point of contact connecting internal stakeholders and software providers, facilitating the integration of business needs into system updates, addressing technical challenges, and providing necessary user education and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

The key duties and responsibilities of the ERP Business Analyst & Support include, but are not limited to:

Manage the day-to-day operation of the ERP system.

Configure users, roles, permissions, and security settings.

Ensure data accuracy and system integrity.

Coordinate system upgrades and testing.

Business Process Support

Understand company business processes across all departments.

Analyze operational requirements and identify system improvements.

Recommend workflow automation opportunities.

Document business processes and system procedures.

Vendor Coordination

Act as the primary point of contact between the company and the ERP software vendor.

Coordinate issue resolution with the vendor.

Track enhancement requests and software defects.

Follow up on project timelines and deliverables.

User Support

Provide first-line support to ERP users.

Troubleshoot functional issues.

Escalate technical issues to the software vendor.

Maintain a knowledge base for common issues.

Training

Conduct ERP training sessions for new and existing employees.

Develop user manuals and training materials.

Assist departments during new module implementations.

Change Management

Collect enhancement requests from departments.

Analyze business impact.

Prepare functional requirement documents.

Participate in testing before deployment.

Reporting

Generate business reports and dashboards.

Assist users with report requirements.

Work with the vendor to develop custom reports.

Documentation

Maintain system documentation.

Document workflows, procedures, configurations, and change requests.

Continuous Improvement

Evaluate new ERP features.

Recommend improvements.

Support digital transformation initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3–5 years of ERP administration or ERP functional support.

Experience working with ERP vendors.

Experience in user training.

Experience gathering business requirements.

ERP system administration. (Yardi)

Strong understanding of business processes.

Microsoft SQL (Basic knowledge).

Microsoft Excel (Advanced).

Reporting tools (Power BI is an advantage).

Basic understanding of databases.
