Our growing team have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, responsible for managing and maintaining the IT platforms across our 20+ brands. Day to day you will monitor, maintain and support all systems, servers, storage and network infrastructure and will be exposed to many different environments and support a variety of solutions globally. This is a senior role where you will lead on various projects, evaluating solutions on a company wide scale and presenting to your management team.

Every day you will…

Working US hours (15:00 - 00:00 SAST), you will act as a point of escalation for the Infrastructure Engineers to ensure a timely resolution of incidents

Maintain and support the infrastructure across 2 data centers, proactively preventing incidents

Manage and maintain the backup environment, conducting regular restores to validate backups and baseline restore timings to support BCP/DR planning

Work with the wider Cloud team to implement the migration in line with the approach, project scope, schedule and costings

Ensure changes to infrastructure are appropriately planned, documented and executed using an approved change control process

Monitor and maintain all patch levels and ensure all zero-day alerts are actioned within 14 days of release

Work with both our network and Information Security teams to ensure Acacium’s Azure network, SIEM, IDP, AV are in place, fit for purpose, scale and enable technology growth

Assist DevOps Cloud engineers to ensure best practice architecture and design form the basis of any new development
