Job description

ARHS Group, part of Accenture, is looking for a Senior Software Tester to join one of our client teams onsite in Luxembourg within a European institutional environment.

Help ensure the quality and reliability of business-critical applications used in a complex international environment. Working closely with developers, business analysts, and project teams, you will contribute to testing activities across the software development lifecycle, combining manual testing with test automation to deliver high-quality software.

THE WORK:

  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web and mobile applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
  • Develop and maintain automated test cases where appropriate, supporting regression and functional testing activities.
  • Perform API testing using Postman and contribute to testing activities within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Review and improve existing test scripts, automation frameworks, and QA processes.
  • Evaluate test coverage and ensure comprehensive validation of business and technical requirements.
  • Support performance and load testing activities when required.
  • Prepare and maintain testing documentation, reports, and quality metrics.
  • Manage and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Act as a QA reference within projects by mentoring team members, promoting testing best practices, and contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes.

Onsite at client site: This role requires an onsite presence with our clients and partners to support project delivery and strengthen client relationships. Our roles require in-person time to encourage collaboration, learning, and relationship-building with clients, colleagues, and communities.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • At least 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Strong experience designing and executing manual test strategies for complex web applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium and Java for test automation.
  • Experience with Postman for API testing and validation.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Xray or similar test management tools.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience acting as a Test Lead or mentoring QA team members.
  • Experience with performance or load testing.
  • Knowledge of React- and Java-based applications.
  • Experience working in large-scale or public sector environments.
  • ISTQB or other relevant software testing certifications.

As part of our security and compliance procedures, candidates will be required to undergo a criminal background check prior to employment.
