Job description

Hi there!

We are STX Next, a global IT consulting company specializing in customer-focused software services. Join a group of 500 professionals dedicated to helping customers build outstanding products. Leveraging the latest advancements in the field, and a passion for innovation, we're shaping the future of technology one project at a time.

Are you the NEXT one?

Type of contract

A B2B contract for your flexibility and competitive compensation package

Location

A remote model encouraging general balance. Work anywhere from Poland.

Role description We are recruiting for our major UK-based client in the EdTech sector. You'll join a cross-functional Product Team working on a dynamic learning platform used by teachers and students. The platform enables educators to create engaging learning experiences, monitor student progress, and deliver high-quality educational content for learners of different age groups, with a particular focus on younger audiences.

As a Product Designer, you'll own product initiatives from discovery through delivery, collaborating closely with Product Managers, UX Researchers, BI Analysts, Developers, QA, and business stakeholders. You'll help shape product decisions by combining user insights, business goals, market analysis, and data-driven thinking to create meaningful experiences.

We work with a mature and well-established Design System, allowing you to focus primarily on solving user problems rather than building UI components from scratch. While this role is strongly UX-oriented, we're looking for someone who is also comfortable designing polished, production-ready interfaces.

As you will be working closely with a UK-based team, this role requires flexibility for some meetings in the afternoon to align with their business hours.

What you'll do •

Lead end-to-end design initiatives, taking ownership from product discovery through delivery.

Translate user needs, business goals, research findings, and product strategy into intuitive user experiences.

Design user flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces in Figma.

Collaborate closely with UX Researchers by supporting research planning, participating in research activities, synthesizing insights, and translating findings into product solutions.

Work with BI and product analytics to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and support data-informed design decisions.

Analyze user needs, market trends, competitor products, and business requirements to inform product strategy.

Design within and contribute to an established Design System, ensuring consistency and scalability across the platform.

Collaborate daily with Product Managers, Developers, QA Engineers, Researchers, BI Analysts, and business stakeholders throughout the product development process.

Present design concepts, communicate design rationale, gather feedback, and iterate based on user insights and business priorities.

Partner closely with engineering teams during implementation to ensure high-quality execution of design solutions.

What we're looking for Must have

3+ years of experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer.

A strong portfolio demonstrating your UX thinking, product design process, and ability to solve complex user problems.

Proven experience independently leading product design projects from discovery to delivery.

Strong understanding of UX methodologies, interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles.

UI design skills and the ability to create clean, user-friendly interfaces.

Experience working with Design Systems and designing scalable digital products.

Proficiency in Figma, including components, Auto Layout, variables, and interactive prototyping.

Experience collaborating with UX Researchers and applying qualitative and quantitative research insights to product decisions.

Experience working with product metrics, analytics, or BI data to support design decisions.

Strong analytical thinking with the ability to understand user needs, business goals, market trends, and competitive landscapes.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

The ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative cross-functional team.

Professional English proficiency at C1 level , with confidence working in an international environment.

Nice to have

Experience working in the education sector or on EdTech products.

Experience designing SaaS or other complex digital products.

Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
