Associate Director, Data Center Technology & Infrastructure

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Data Center Technology & Infrastructure to serve as the key technical partner to the Global CTO and support the design, implementation, integration, and operational readiness of regional data center projects. This role will oversee all technology-related aspects of data center infrastructure, including IT infrastructure, networking, compute, storage, virtualization, security, monitoring systems, and critical facility technologies. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, resolve complex technical challenges, and ensure technology solutions are delivered in accordance with global standards, operational requirements, and business objectives. The role will work closely with Engineering, PMO, Procurement, Commercial, Operations, Solution teams, and external technology partners to ensure successful project delivery across multiple countries. Key Responsibilities Technology Strategy & Technical Leadership Support the Global CTO in driving technology strategy and technical governance across regional data center projects. Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from design to commissioning and operational handover. Establish technology standards, best practices, and infrastructure governance across all project locations. Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex infrastructure and technology issues. Data Center Infrastructure & Technology Oversee technology architecture covering compute, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud connectivity, cybersecurity, and monitoring systems. Review infrastructure designs and technical specifications to ensure scalability, resiliency, security, and operational efficiency. Support integration between IT systems, building management systems (BMS), DCIM, ERP, monitoring platforms, and operational technologies. Ensure technology solutions align with business, operational, and customer requirements. Technical Project Delivery Work closely with PMO, Engineering, Procurement, and Commercial teams throughout project execution. Support technical reviews, factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), commissioning, and operational readiness. Monitor technical milestones, identify project risks, and recommend mitigation plans. Ensure technology deliverables are completed according to project schedules and quality standards. Vendor & Solution Management Evaluate technology vendors, infrastructure solutions, and technical proposals. Support vendor selection, solution validation, and technology procurement. Collaborate with Solution teams during customer engagements, technical presentations, and solution development. Coordinate with global technology partners on product roadmaps and infrastructure innovations. Operational Excellence & Innovation Drive continuous improvement of technology platforms, infrastructure reliability, and operational efficiency. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance data center performance. Support operational troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technology optimization initiatives. Develop technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related discipline. 15+ years of experience in data center technology, enterprise infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, or mission-critical environments. Strong expertise in servers, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise platforms. Solid understanding of data center facility infrastructure, including power, cooling, MEP systems, BMS, and DCIM. Experience leading technical delivery for large-scale data center or digital infrastructure projects. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills. Fluent English communication skills. Willingness to travel frequently across regional project locations.
