Job description

WHO WE ARE

Imprint helps the world's best brands grow the lifetime value of their customers. We started with co-branded credit cards and rebuilt them to be smarter, more rewarding, and brand-first. We partner with companies like Crate & Barrel, Rakuten, Booking.com http://Booking.com, H-E-B, Fetch, and Shell to launch modern credit programs that deepen loyalty, unlock savings, and drive growth. But the card is just the beginning. We combine advanced payments infrastructure, intelligent underwriting, and deep customer data to create delightful and personalized experiences for members as well as efficient and profitable relationships for our brand partners. Our robust technology and world-class operations allow us and our brand partners to offer powerful financial products without becoming a bank.

In the U.S., co-branded cards alone account for over $300 billion in annual spend, and most still run on decades-old legacy bank systems. Imprint is the modern alternative: flexible, embeddable, and built for how people actually pay today. Backed by Kleiner Perkins, Thrive Capital, Ribbit, and Khosla Ventures, we're building a world-class team to redefine how people pay and how brands grow. If you want to move fast, solve hard problems, and own real outcomes, we want to meet you.

About the Role

Imprint is looking for an experienced treasury leader to build and scale our treasury function as we enter our next phase of growth.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will own the company's treasury strategy and operations, including liquidity management, cash forecasting, banking infrastructure, funding operations, and treasury controls. Today, these responsibilities are distributed across Finance, Controllership, and Capital Markets. You will consolidate them into a centralized, scalable function designed to support a rapidly growing consumer lending platform.

This is a highly strategic, hands-on role for someone who enjoys building from first principles. You'll design the operating model, establish best practices, implement scalable systems and controls, and serve as the company's subject matter expert on how cash moves across the business. You'll partner closely with Finance, Capital Markets, Engineering, Data Science, and Banking partners to ensure Imprint has the treasury infrastructure required to support continued growth.

This is a unique opportunity to define and build a critical function at one of the fastest-growing FinTech companies.

What You'll Accomplish in Your First 90 Days

  • Design and implement a scalable cash forecasting framework that leverages transaction, payment, and funding data to improve forecasting accuracy and replace manual processes.
  • Assume ownership of daily liquidity management, cash positioning, bank account administration, and wire approvals.
  • Complete a comprehensive assessment of the company's banking infrastructure, treasury processes, and controls, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and governance.
  • Establish operating rhythms across FP&A, Accounting, Capital Markets, Engineering, and Operations to ensure cash movements and forecasts are coordinated, transparent, and auditable.
  • Develop treasury policies, approval workflows, and operational controls that create a strong foundation for future scale.
  • Define the roadmap for treasury systems and automation while identifying opportunities to reduce manual work through technology.
  • Scope and begin hiring a Treasury Operations team member to support the function as the business continues to grow.

What You'll Do

  • Build and lead Imprint's treasury function, establishing the strategy, operating model, and processes that support the company's growth.
  • Own liquidity management, daily cash positioning, forecasting, banking operations, and treasury reporting.
  • Oversee all cash movement, including wire approvals, bank account administration, payment operations, and cash reconciliation.
  • Partner with Capital Markets to optimize warehouse funding, asset pledging, receivables purchases, collateral management, and financing activities.
  • Develop short- and long-term liquidity forecasts that inform capital planning and executive decision-making.
  • Optimize working capital, funding costs, interest expense, and capital efficiency as the business scales.
  • Build scalable treasury infrastructure by implementing systems, automation, and controls that reduce operational risk and improve efficiency.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Data Science to improve the systems and data pipelines supporting treasury operations and cash forecasting.
  • Establish treasury policies, governance frameworks, and internal controls that support operational excellence and future public company readiness.
  • Build executive reporting and treasury dashboards that provide visibility into liquidity, funding, and capital position.
  • Develop strong relationships with banking partners and manage the company's banking infrastructure.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop Treasury Operations talent as the organization grows.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of treasury experience within FinTech, consumer lending, financial services, banking, or another highly regulated financial institution.
  • Deep expertise in liquidity management, cash forecasting, treasury operations, and banking infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of the cash flow dynamics of lending businesses, including warehouse facilities, receivables financing, consumer payment behavior, settlement flows, and bank partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success building or transforming treasury functions, operational processes, or financial infrastructure in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience developing forecasting models and analytical frameworks that support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, Capital Markets, Engineering, Product, and Operations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex treasury concepts to executive leadership.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment where balancing strategy with hands-on execution is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a company through IPO readiness or operating within a public company treasury organization.
  • Experience implementing or optimizing Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and treasury automation tools.
  • Familiarity with sponsor bank and third-party bank origination models.
  • Experience hiring, mentoring, or leading treasury operations teams.
  • CPA, CFA, or CTP designation is a plus.

Why This Role Matters

Treasury sits at the center of how Imprint operates. As Head of Treasury, you'll build the systems, processes, and infrastructure that enable the company to deploy capital efficiently, manage liquidity with confidence, and support the next stage of our growth. You'll help shape one of the most important finance functions at Imprint while partnering closely with leaders across the business to build a world-class treasury organization.
