Facility: Dell Childrens Medical Group Wyoming Springs
Department/Specialty: Pediatrics
Schedule: Full time | Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
How you'll make an impact in this role
Deliver high-quality direct nursing care by following established clinical protocols to ensure optimal patient safety and comfort.
Execute and adapt individualized care plans while continuously monitoring patient progress to achieve the best possible health outcomes.
Track and communicate vital health changes in real-time to the care team, ensuring swift and accurate clinical decision-making.
Coordinate multidisciplinary care teams as the primary point of contact, ensuring a seamless, collaborative experience for the patient.
Champion the discharge planning process from admission to transition, collaborating with the healthcare team to guarantee safe and successful patient returns home.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
Education
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR a bachelors level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed.
What additional requirements you'll need
Professional Qualifications & Technical Skills: Holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with a strong foundation in clinical and administrative operations, including precise note documentation, vaccine administration, and medical phone etiquette; pediatric experience and bilingual skills are highly preferred, alongside a preference for over 5 years of experience.
Core Competencies & Care Delivery: Demonstrates leadership presence, exceptional multitasking, and a high degree of adaptability, while consistently delivering patient-centered care anchored in empathy, active listening, and professionalism.
