Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Harlingen, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving and armed post, offering the opportunity to support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and a people-first approach in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor customer and employee traffic, observe for policy violations, and report suspicious behavior, theft-related concerns, and/or hazards according to site procedures.
- Support loss prevention and closing or opening activities as directed, including documenting incidents, assisting with crowd management, and helping to maintain orderly operations at the location.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
