Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Specialist in Sacramento, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe public areas to help to identify suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, reporting issues through established protocols.
• Support daily operations by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and maintaining a professional presence while following post orders and local procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
