Msuez Uk is a leading healthcare organization in South Africa, dedicated to providing quality medical care to our patients. We are currently seeking a highly organized and efficient Medical Receptionist to join our team in Johannesburg.

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that our patients receive a warm and welcoming experience while also providing administrative support to our medical staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments, maintaining a well-organized and efficient appointment schedule
• Verify insurance information and collect payments from patients
• Maintain patient records and ensure they are up-to-date and accurate
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely appointments
• Keep the reception area clean and tidy, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment
• Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, data entry, and ordering office supplies

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus
• Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is an advantage
• Bilingual in English and another language is a plus
