IT Infrastructure & Security Administrator

Role Description

We are looking for a skilled System & Network Administrator for a full-time, on-site role in Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and securing the company's IT infrastructure, networks, and systems while ensuring maximum performance, reliability, and data security.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain servers, network infrastructure, switches, routers, firewalls, and domain environments.
• Configure, monitor, and manage firewalls to ensure network security and traffic control.
• Implement and manage Active Directory, Group Policies (GPOs), user permissions, and access controls.
• Ensure data security through endpoint protection, backup management, disaster recovery planning, and vulnerability prevention.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
• Monitor network performance and system health using tools such as Zabbix, PRTG, Nagios, or similar platforms.
• Manage LAN/WAN, VPNs, Wi-Fi infrastructure, and remote access systems.
• Develop and enforce IT security policies, SOPs, and compliance standards across the organization.
• Perform regular system updates, patch management, antivirus monitoring, and security audits.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, networking, and system-related issues across departments.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and coordinate hardware procurement, upgrades, and replacements.
• Ensure proper documentation of systems, configurations, policies, and recovery procedures.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in System & Network Administration within an IT or tech-based company.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs, routing, switching, and network security.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Domain Management, and Group Policies (GPOs).
• Good understanding of data security, backup solutions, disaster recovery, and access management.
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux, and macOS environments. Familiarity with monitoring and security tools such as Zabbix, PRTG, Nagios, or similar platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
