Talent Acquisition Manager
Job description
Talent Acquisition Manager
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager who brings strong hiring judgment, a sharp eye for potential, and the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders across all levels. This role is ideal for someone who goes beyond resume matching—someone who can assess capability, motivation, and long-term fit, including candidates from non-linear or career-switching backgrounds. You will play a key role in strengthening hiring quality, guiding hiring managers through structured assessment, and shaping a robust and inclusive talent pipeline for the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership teams to understand business needs, define role success profiles, and co-create effective hiring strategies.
- Design and drive structured, competency-based assessment approaches to improve hiring quality and consistency across departments.
- Evaluate candidates holistically, with the ability to identify transferable skills and potential, particularly for career switchers and non-traditional profiles.
- Facilitate calibration discussions with hiring panels to ensure objective, well-informed, and aligned hiring decisions.
- Own end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing to offer management, ensuring efficiency and a strong candidate experience.
- Build and manage diverse sourcing channels with a focus on quality pipelines rather than volume in the long run.
- Advise and influence stakeholders on market insights, talent availability, and realistic hiring expectations.
- Drive initiatives to enhance candidate experience and employer brand positioning.
- Partner with agencies and external stakeholders on hiring needs, including matters relating to foreign workforce hiring and compliance.
- Organise and represent the organisation in recruitment events, career fairs, and outreach initiatives.
- Track, analyse, and present recruitment metrics, such as quality of hire, time-to-fill, and pipeline conversion, to support data-driven improvements.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of in-house talent acquisition or recruitment experience, with demonstrated strength in candidate assessment and stakeholder partnering.
- Proven ability to assess beyond technical fit, including evaluating potential, learning agility, and transferable skills.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders and navigating differing hiring expectations across functions or seniority levels.
- Strong facilitation and influencing skills, with confidence in guiding hiring discussions and challenging biases where needed.
- Familiarity with the Singapore Employment Act and hiring regulations, including foreign workforce considerations.
- Data-driven mindset, with the ability to use recruitment metrics to improve processes and outcomes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
