Position Overview

The Remote Senior Data Entry Clerk is responsible for managing high-volume data entry tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the integrity of company information across digital systems. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting productivity and accuracy standards in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain large volumes of data within company databases and software systems.
  • Review and verify information for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
  • Identify and correct data discrepancies, duplicate records, and inconsistencies.
  • Perform data quality checks and maintain accurate digital records.
  • Organize, manage, and archive electronic documents and files.
  • Process customer, vendor, financial, inventory, or operational data as assigned.
  • Generate reports and summaries based on collected data.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive company information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve data-related issues.
  • Assist with improving data entry procedures and workflow processes.
  • Meet established deadlines, productivity goals, and accuracy benchmarks.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in data entry, administrative support, records management, or a related field.
  • Strong typing speed with a high level of accuracy.
  • Advanced attention to detail and ability to identify errors quickly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and database systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote setting.
  • Strong written communication and problem-solving skills.
