Carpenter
Job description
In order to work in Ireland a non-EEA National, unless they are exempted, must hold a valid employment permit. Please review the Eligibility and requirements for an employment permit if you are unsure of your eligibility to apply for this vacancy. Their duties and responsibilities include:
- Working on high end residential and commercial renovations, extensions and new build projects.
- Perform structural repairs and finishing carpentry.
- Good understanding of wall structure, roof and joining.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Must be design focused with a keen eye for detail.
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain a clean,
- Knowledge to Install and inspect fire doors in line with regulations
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations always.
- Work closely with management and the site team to meet production targets.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry best practice.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
- Communicate with site supervisors and project managers regarding work progress, issues, and any necessary changes to plans or schedules Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum 5 years working experience as carpenter in building construction.
- Diploma/Certification as a Carpenter
- Strong craftsmanship in both structural and finishing work.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Valid Safe Pass
