About the role
Mission
- The mission of the Team Manager, Solution Architecture is to deliver timely and cost-effective solutions that meet customer requirements while aligning with the organization's vision for innovation and excellence. This role aims to elevate solution design practices and enhance team engagement, contributing to overall business growth and customer satisfaction.
Main activities
- Lead and guide the Solution Architecture team in designing competitive solutions that directly address customer demands, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Manage the presales framework and solution development processes to meet defined KPIs for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Organize weekly planning sessions, implementing Agile methodology to enhance collaboration and productivity.
- Oversee resource allocation to effectively meet project requirements and optimize team performance.
- Champion compliance with the bid process and enforce standards for solution design and costing.
- Facilitate ongoing knowledge management initiatives through targeted upskilling and training plans for the team.
- Utilize analytics and reporting tools to drive continuous improvement and performance monitoring within the team.
- Mentor and foster the professional growth of both junior and senior architects, strengthening team capabilities.
- Coordinate with partners and technology vendors for high-quality solution design and development.

- Oversee the performance and development of the Solution Architects, ensuring their alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Encourage collaboration across global teams and establish connections with industry partners.
- Financial:
- Ensure that all solutions are developed within the defined budget and cost-to-make constraints.
- Monitor financial metrics to secure the competitiveness and financial health of the proposed solutions.
- Other:
- Manage the end-to-end development process, facilitating efficient project delivery that meets customer requirements.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of the competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team through collaboration and shared learning.
About you
- Professional skills:
- You have a strong technical background within the presales domain of technology multinationals or telecom providers.
- Your exceptional communication skills in English enable you to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Your expertise includes staying current with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
- You possess experience in managing presales processes and solution designs that meet budgetary constraints.
- Your analytical capabilities allow for informed decision-making backed by insightful data interpretation.
- Soft skills:
- You function autonomously, demonstrating high reliability and accountability in delivering results.
- Your team-oriented mindset fosters collaboration and enhances collective performance and customer-centric thinking.
- You effectively manage stress and time constraints to produce excellence in high-pressure environments.
- Your proven customer-facing experience showcases your ability to present and defend solutions to both teams and clients.
- Education:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or any related technical engineering field.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry, with a solid background in presales and solution architecture roles.
- Certifications:
- Technical certifications such as CCNP/CCDP or equivalent are a plus.
- ITIL Foundations certification is desirable to ensure knowledge of service management best practices.
